Special Hobby: Fokker D.IIPosted: Thursday, August 23, 2018 - 08:13 AM UTC
Special Hobby have re-released their 1:32 kit of the Fokker D.II with decals for a pair of strikingly painted aircraft flown by Lt. Fritz Grunzweig. Maybe they don''t quite sport the classic "shark mouth", but they''re within a proverbial hair''s breadth and must be among the earliest examples of this iconic motif.

Thanks for the review, Rowan. It's always good to see these minor planes available to those who are interested.

Nice one Rowan.
I have the earlier boxing of this kit with the Black and White tail. I share your assessment of the kit here.
Having built a couple of Special Hobby biplanes before (Nieuport 11 and 16) I can affirm they build into nice models, but you need to be aware of potential pitfalls through the process.
Cheers
