Anybody hungry to build MiGs? I would like to propose a campaign dedicated to the aircraft built by the design bureau founded by Artem Mikoyan and Mikhail Gurevich and built from World War 2 right up to the current day. This would include propeller driven models, jets, production aircraft & experimental jobs. Our models can be built in the markings of any service including captured examples.
The campaign would run for six to nine months and would start as soon as it can be scheduled.
New builds only please, not shared with other campaigns.
A start photo & some progress pictures would be required along with posting pictures of the completed painted model to the campaign gallery to be awarded the ribbon.
Is anyone interested in such a campaign? Comments?

Great, that's three of us so far. We need ten to submit for a start date.

I just finished the ICM MiG 25PD in 1/48 last month. If only our timing could have been a little better!

Tell you what guys, I'm going to sit this one out. I've got one mostly assembled MiG 21 in the stash, a swap meet mistake that's too far along for a campaign. Have fun, I'm sure I'll be checking your builds out.

Chris, John & Tim, welcome aboard! That makes eight builders so far, another two & we can apply for that starting date.

Mark - Perhaps you can find another MiG to join in the fun?

Depends on the time frame if I join in. Have a few 21 in my stash (Academy + Eduard) and it could give me the needed kick to build the FiAF MiG 21bis ....

OK guys, I think we have more than enough builders to apply for a start date. I'll get that ball rolling.

I just applied for official status and for a starting date. I'm glad to have this going as I'm itching to try a natural metal finish again. This is gunna be fun!

I can tee this one up for as soon as 1 July if you all are interested, or I can push it back to 1 August if you'd rather.
