First the Hannover and now this!
Looks like I'm saving up for the next few months.
In the meantime I should build the ones I've got!

So far this is all the website shows. We'll have to keep our eye on it as the day goes on to see if they fill it in.

Great news for all who wanted a cutting edge kit of the DR.1.
I might get an early/F.1 in time – it's not one of my top kit wants from WnWs. But still most welcome.

Hi Mikael
My reaction was just the opposite - I think it'll be a must buy for me.
Thankfully, it looks like the cards in the photo read 2020, so my wallet will be safe for a little while.
All the best

I'm in agreement. It's a must-buy for me. And I'm ashamed to admit that I will build as Richthoffen's. Having both of his Albatros already, it will round off the set. No doubt that WnW will include some other nice schemes to tempt me to buy another.
And as Michael says, hopefully we'll see some Spads soon after.

Hi guys
Glad you got your wish come true!
One reason I'll probably not get this is that I reacently built a (partly) red DR.1, mount of a certain Baron – all based on the Roden offering. I did a lot of mods and threw a host of A.M. items on it – so I'm pretty happy and satisfied with this – tough it's probably not quite as accurate as the coming WnW kit
Engine comes from WnWs so technically it's partly from NZ.
Cheers

Looks great Mikael. I've often wondered how Rosen's builds up. How did you do the streaked cammouflage?

Thanks Stephen!
As for the streaks – well I "cheated" using Aviattics decals. Very easy to work with.
Aviattics streaky decals
The Roden kit is not half bad, fit is good – but there are some issues that needs tending if you want an accurate tridecker.

Hey if it's available use it! I've mucked about with scrap with dark olive oil paints. Got a couple of small scale aircraft that will need it. Looks ok, but took ages to dry.
Rodens aren't too bad, not as sharp as wnw, but ok.

Whoa, now that is cool !! ...WNW doing a Dr.I
And Model Cellar has the ultimate 1/32 Voss figure to compliment it. Sculpted by Mike Good, the pose, the anatomy, the proportions AND the likeness is spot on:
https://modelcellar.com/shop/time-period/wwi/werner-voss-3/
We issued Voss in 2007 - that was LONG before WNW was even around. Funny, but our Voss figure was actually designed to go with the "BRAND NEW" (at the time) Roden kit. Roden was emerging on the 1/32 WWI scene and at Mike's urging, we set off doing 1/32 WWI pilots. Of course when they issued the kit with Manfred's markings, we soon followed with Manny & Moritz:
https://modelcellar.com/shop/time-period/wwi/manfred-von-richthofen-with-moritz/
And, if they issue Lothar's markings, we have a Lothar figure too =). In the years gone by we have made quite a few WWI 1/32 personalities: von Schleich, Bishop, Immelman, Boelcke, Lufbery, Baracca, etc.

Now here we are TWELVE years later and we've come full circle.

Paul

No art for the Early kit yet, but I'll bet we can make some guesses...

Surprise! Not. But who cares!!
Should be interesting to see where they go with the full color version.

'Bloody Pulveriser' I want one of those, at least I can fold the wings so it takes up slightly less space.
You can keep the Lanc but I may get the cockpit section, just hope it comes with or the AM decal companies come out with some great nose art.
