Today an F-16 Fighting Falcon of the USAF crashed shortly after take off from Spangdahlem AB in south west Germany during a training flight. The pilot survived taking the ejection seat. He is in hospital now. The reason is still unknown. The plane crashed into a forest. It looks as if there are no casualties. First at the crash site were german fire fighters.
