Ezra, Pretty good! It looks used and abused. Tell us more; what scale, who's kit, any particular challenges?

Another one bites the dust!
RoG's 1/72 Stearman Kaydet.
My first ever rigged biplane.
Now, where is that Gallery?

It is the accurate miniatures 1/48 kit, one of the few aircraf kits ive built, because i am really an armor modeler. And for changes It is pretty much OOB,but I cut the canopy apart, put in seat belts and put a cast look on the bombs and cut and reposed the tail planes. love your builds they look great! cant wait to see more!

Oh, sorry, I forgot the list the kit. It's the 1/72 1982 Revell of Germany boxing of the 1965 Revell (of Great Britain?) release.

Finally i got this old Hasagawa Vought F4U-4 Corsair processed ( working from home does help ), it all stalled after the chipping with the hairspray technic, i just placed it on the shelf and it started collecting dust for a year or so (it's not the oldest shelf queen). I was afraid that the layer of Future would ruin the hairspray/paint well i now know that after a year the hairspray does not work and everything stayed well together,.. and that for an 1980's kit that i picked-up for 5 euro anyway here the pictures
After cleaning, the dust really sticked to the surface, the 1989 decals where good quality
Before the oil paint blent i applied a coat of future
The end result
The finished products of some corona builds
thanks

Good looking Corsairs. Really like the weathering on the 1/48th version.

This is a left over from the "Learning to fly" campaign. I have been working on a dragster over on the Auto Modeler forum. Now that I am about finished with that, I started working on the Hotspur glider.

I have installed the control surfaces and painted the bottom yellow. Most RAF trainers were yellow, and if that was all there was to it, I would be done. The training gliders were yellow with diagonal black stripes. That should be...uh.....fun.

True to form, a complete dark horse (or in this case, little dark bird) has risen from the depths of the stash to claim some bench time.
DML/Dragons MH-6 Little Bird out of the stash and under a repaint and with smoked canopy.
not much to do to salvage the 20+yr in initial paint/canopy masking.
rotor system
and fuselage
BUT.. the canopy to fuselage fit of this kit STINKS!!
I've read and have images suggesting cutting the door frames off and attaching these to the canopy FIRST, then fitting and filling the canopy AFTER.
We will see of my attention span lasts that long.

Well, here we go.
Like the old adage about the chicken and the pig and the breakfast, (the chicken is involved, the pig is committed)
I'm committed.

It was time consuming to mask all this off.

Here is my Revell 1/72 PZL P-11c from the "Bent-Wing Birds" campaign. I decided to cut the back of the cowling off as it's supposed to be a ring. The view on the box cover is from the rear and you can easily see the back of the engine pistons, so I felt I had to do it on the model. I have no idea how successful I will be.
