Has anyone suggested a WW I campaign? I have started (2) in the past, but never finished.
It would be open to any airplane, tank, truck, artillery piece, what ever just as long as it was used in WW I.

Always up for one of these! Given the very sad situation in NZ, we could make it a WNW memorial campaign (though with others allowed, of course.)

Nice thought Michael, I have a rough draft here. Would you like to proof it and add the WNW NZ?
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
World War I (often abbreviated as WWI or WW1), also known as the First World War or the Great War, was a global war that lasted from 1914 to 1918.
Upon completion of this campaign you will receive this fine ribbon to decorate your profile page and act as a link back to this page.
The Rules and Regs
1. HAVE FUN.
2. If it was used in WW I it qualifies. Airplane, Tank, Truck, Artillery, Ship.
3. Model must be no more than 50% completed at the start of the campaign. For example:
4. At least (2) in progress photos in the campaign forum.
5. Post finished photo into the gallery.
Contest Element
One ribbon for the campaign will be given

Stephen, I just ordered (2) to make (4) in my stash. But we have choices now.
That makes (7) just (3) more.

Bob,
Very sad indeed, for whatever the reasons are.
I firmly agree about the name change. Would you like me to actually change the name of your proposal? Also, you might want to post something in the Armorama and Model Shipwrights forums (and maybe others) with links back here so they know what's up. Looks like you only need one more to get on the schedule, but I hope a lot more will join.
I'm kind of thinking longer than 6 months on this one, how 'bout you?

Michael, I agree to the name change if you would please.
I will post on each of the other sites, but do not know how to link them to each other.

I fear we may be over thinking this. How about just:
WWI Campaign Honoring WnW
Then I make sure to put in the posts in the other forums that it's open to all WWI models, which is becoming the norm in these kinds of campaigns anyway.
Also, just a suggestion, but I think it should run for a full year. Biplanes (even WnW biplanes) are hard!

One more bump. August would be a very appropriate start time for this one, but we need one more to be official.

The title does not mean this is only a WingNutWings campaign, just an honor to them. It is open to all manufactures of WWI aircraft.
