Thanks Jose and Oliver, really impressed with the Vallejo paints. So much easier using ready mixed colours

Right I’m calling this build finished. Really enjoyed it and its one of the easiest kits I have put together. I did let the glue applied to the undercarriage set overnight. Once the prop and fan are attached you can barely see the engine. There is some light weathering using fine ground chalk pastels [Lidl] mixed with acrylic paint thinner. The model was sprayed with Windsor and Newton matt varnish that was diluted about 50-50 with acrylic paint thinner. It just goes through the spray so much easier. Thanks for following. I feel a Bf 109 G Wilde Saumdouble bill coming next.

Hi Tim

Superb build! And outrageously quick! That shouldn't be allowed!

All the best

Thanks Rowan that is much appreciated. Definitely a kit worth having in the stash as a backup if anyone ever suffers from building block

Gorgeous! I hope I can do anywhere nearly as well as that when I build mine.

Just caught up with this one .. and you finished it weeks ago! That’ll teach me to look away. Very nicely done!

Tim! Excellent! And your experience with the kit exatly mirrors mine with the 1/72-model, one of the best fitting kits I've ever built!

Thanks Magnus I was a little concerned with the fit of the wing to the fuselage. The seam line looks quite complex, but it went together perfectly. In fact the kit itself is pretty much perfect. this kit will be a good antidote to builders block methinks
