Hi Tread
Sorry... I managed to miss this completely! Mal steered me in the right direction to take a look.
I've never had a chance to try a NMF properly, so I'm definitely interested. My problem is that I've already got so many builds lined up for the year, I seriously doubt I can fit another in.
I don't know if it's really allowed to enter the same model in two builds but, with a bit of crafty re-thinking, I should be able to find a subject that qualifies for Project X and has a NMF...
All the best

Great idea! as the b-58 is my most loved aircraft, I think it is wonderful. However, I have four serious models to finish at this time. So I will not be able to partake for a long while. I will join in when I have finished what I must.

Hi all...
speaking of the devil so to speak, Rowan and I have recently discussed metal finishes on Luftwaffe WW2 aircraft and I've included a couple of examples in Part 2 of the Luft 46 Camo Colours feature.
And I've recently done an all metal profile for Part 3. So a little sneak preview.....
Cheers
Peter

I'd gladly join in!
I've got a P-47 from hasegawa that could use a nice NMF!

Forgive me for being ignorant on how a group build or campaign works, I am new and still trying to figure out all the nuances of this fine forum. I would like to be involved in this too but I don’t know what you guys and gals do in a group build. Is there a central thread that gets posted to and pics are taken to show progress/share knowledge?
Please advise the newbie here, I have a MiG-21 that has been threatening to be built up in natural metal for a while now.
Thanks!

Yes, you can post your progress or questions in the campaing central command, and then finish by the dead line of before.

Howdy guys, and salutations!
to propboy: Your input is greatly appreciated! May I please request your participation in this wee Build so that your input can be hashed out properly, and hopefully we all learn something ?
Because, I for one would like some clarification regarding your opinions between the BMF and the Metalizer finishes......
