Yoda, maybe you should try to find some PE parts for that model... or some resin... it would so much help to have it look good !

Glad to see all this interest in an aircraft build, even from you armor guys.....
I finally got all the parts and information I needed - I'm gonna build the 1958 F-4D Skyray that was the China Lake NOTS Satellite Launcher aircraft and the little NOTSNIK Orbital Vehicle. I like Skyrays and Space Vehicles - I think I'm within the bounds of the project parameters in this selection...

Gunnie, good aircraft selection! I saw the 1/72 Tamiya kit and thought about it, but I didn't get it because it wasn't 1/48th. But, now that I see a pic of the real thing...
