....god knows what everyones gonna think of me after this, i guess my Vietnam Era Rep has just been thrown out the window :-)

ok here she is, Tamiyas 1/48 F-51D, that im building as an RAAF bird of the 77 squadron, during the Korean war (for remember korea campaign).

thanks alot, i think the metal coat came out pretty good one thing i need to remember for next time is to make sure no dust or bits of whatever get onto the paint when drying or else they really show up (like ltitle hairs, argh i hate them)

What did you end up using for the aluminum? Was it the Humbrol?

Yep i ended up using Humbrols Polished Aluminium for the overall colour, then used various shades of silver and aluminium mixed for various panels on the Bird.
