I'll have to chime in with my list:
- CH-53E in 1/48 or 1/35
- CH-47 in 1/48 or 1/35
- CH-46 in 1/35

Either scale would be great, both would be even better.
Oh, and then there'd be a whole list of AM stuff that could be put out to make Pave Lows, ACH-47s, etc...

Not that I build that many helicopters but I would like to see a Eurocopter NH-90, and of course with Swedish markings so I can make our new HKP-14...

Seeing as nobody has mentioned any of these (Which I can't understand :-) Here is what I would like to see. They're big and even in 1/72 would take up some room. Russian Mi-10, Mi-26, Mi-12, Mi-6.
For some large scale stuff, how about a 1/35 CH-56, and Mi-2. Going to ride the Harley now. Later- "Q"

Howdy All,

In an effort to generate more interest in the "Rotary Wing" side of the site (pardon my pushing to the front for the moment you Aircraft guys.... ) But this question was asked on another site, and I just wanted to know what the opinion was over here at the big 'A' in regards to what kits, scale, and/or conversions, etc. you might want to see made available for the helicopter kit builders out there?

Now come on.......step right up and cast your opinion.....I just know there at least a handful of you out there who build 'Mixmaster's'.
Now come on.......speak up. Don't force me to 'name name's' now..........................

O.K......just to start this off. Here is a pic of a kit I would pay a king's ransom for in 1/35th scale (fat chance), but I would be eternally grateful if it would appear in 1/48th as well........

The CH-37 Mohave

Man, would I just love a kit of this puppy!

O.K..........who's next?

Gordon,
Dont FRET your wishes for an UH-37 are in the works, go to helikit.com and you will see the news and update for this Helo.
As for myself, I have to admit, that the helo building market has been laxed to say the least. But there have been a few addittions that I HAVE WELCOMED w/ Glamorous Elation SH-60, CH-46, HH-53, to name a few............BUT the one that ELUDES me still is an accurate CH-54 Tarhe and the AH-56 Cheyanne. I only build 1/48, and to build some choppers in 1/72 is pointless ie: a OH-6 or Oh-58
I am currently scratch, kitbash, rebuild, revamping the Roberts 1/48 CH-47, which I have waited for for over 25
years, and that in its self is a copy of the OLD ancient
Arora crap kit. SO thats my 6 pence, I'll get off my soapbox now. Todd

Howdy RotorHead,

Thx for the info regarding the Mojave, you got me all excited! But I tried to open up helikit.com and I get either nothing, or an unavailable notice. So, I tried Heli Kit News and looked around there (just in case you meant that place), and still nothing....of course my eyesight isn't what it used to be

If you could be more precise about your link I would greatly appreciate it sir.
Cuz' this is one kit I'll order just as soon as it hit's the bloody streets.

that my friends, would be a huge model, not that I wouldnt buy it. as I understand its the 1/72 version that already has a 13. inch or so rotor span and is 12 or so inches long.

If you are talking about Night Flight for the CH-53, they went the way of the dinosaurs a while ago. Never really got off the ground other than CG smoke and mirrors from what I could see.

For the CH-47, Trumpeter has one scheduled for release in SEP. Hope it comes out on time. Will make a great Christmas present to myself.
