All the a/c in the background of my pics are some of my older models.
I have seen other modelers photograph their models with backgrounds before and I wanted to do the same thing with my models, and possibly do it better.
My photobase is made from three pieces of plywood scrap I bought at a local lumberyard and I filled all the wood grain with putty and sanded it smooth and then painted the base with earth colored paint. When all the paint was dry I brushed glue on the surface and added static grass to it.
The backdrop is poster paper and I airbrushed a sky and horizon on it.
The hanger is made out of a balsa framework and the walls, doors, and roof are plastic sheet.
Camouflage pattern is copied from wartime pictures of various German hangers.
