Here is the kit I build for Wings Over Sea.
The old (really) Revell 1/72 Yak-38 Forger. Yeesh.
I did not want to do to much to this kit as it really needs a lot of help all over, so i only did what I had to to make it look mostly ok...defiantely NOT a contest piece! :-)
Anyhow, I found a new ejection seat in the spares box, and added a decal to the non-existant instrument panel, also from the spares box. The only other addition was the DML AS-10 "Karen" missiles which just had to be added as those 500lb bombs were absolutely awefull, puny, and added no interest at all. The "unique noseart" also came from the spares box.
Painted gloss blue (don't remember which one..French Blue?) over bright green.
Looks like a Yak to me!

nice build. I love you're bird!
one little comment ; try photographing your model on another background! Blue on blue isn't very good,it takes the details away . Try some light-gray or white.

Very nice, I built this a long time ago so I can appreciate the effort that went into it. I found out about the green undersurfaces after I had completed mine

I don't think it looks too bad, especially given the extra effort you went through to complete a unique entry. I also echo the need for a different background, but this will suffice. Great job considering the circumstances.
