That's very nice.
Chuck what kit is that? Does it come with the trailer?

Hi all!
Great little kit you've made... by little I mean the scale off course!
The launching device looks fantastic and the whole vignette makes me think of the Thunderbirds, the famous TV serie! I also like the typical "vintage" feel of your pictures. The only thing I miss are some detail pictures... but I guess the photos are coming from a Sovietic Sputnik satellite :-)
Keep on the good job Chuck! We don't see many of these kits around, especially with some "goodies"!
... and thanks Rowan for getting them in a feature...

Dave - Yes the kit does come with the trailer, as a matter of fact the trailer is a major portion of the kit not just in size but work required to build it. The kit is a short run from Mach2 of France.

Jean-Luc - I've got a crumby digital camera and worse eyes, so no detail shows for now. I may have to switch back to my 35mm SLR. Not that, that will help with my eyes as bad as they are.

Congratulation Chuck!
It looks very good and the display really helps a lot - simple but highly effective
Thanks for sharing Rowan

Dave - Thanks for the tip of the hat, but for this subject they were the "only game in town". This kit completes a long sought after trilogy for me the XFV-1 "Salmon"(Valom), the XFY-1 "POGO" (KP), and now the X-13 Vertijet (Mach2).

I just saw that the new season of Mail Call on the History Channel starts tonight and lo and behold - The Vertijet is a featured segment!
