Hey guys,
I'm still confused about the X-factor rules...
I posted the question before:
Perhaps it's a language thing (if so, sorry for that), but are the X-factors a 'must do' or a choosable option??
I need to know, because when I have to get open bombdoors, perhaps I'll have to scratch me an interior...

o.k. just to clarify, i have a roden gotha Gv 1/72 kit. lots of lozenge and lots of wires! the blurb on the box reads "night raider" late war modification of the worlds first strategic bomber. plus ive seen a detail kit for this one however......... i may bottle it and build one of my heinkels because ive already built the day bomber version of this plane (pics in my gallery) and it was HARD work!

You can count me in too. At the moment I don't know with what type of bomber yet, I'll see what I can find, like and can afford (I'm still a student).
Thanks for setting up the campaign,
Nitro.

" display method is you option " hugh I quoted my self
What I mean is in flight, in a diorama, under repair, being bombed up, hosed off the run way hung from the cieling, on a pole, floating in the channel with
spitfires flying over it even.
hum now that would be cool...

I really like your sense of humour Treecat......we used to have a lot of it around here......
{.....meaning, that I was usually the culprit..... ....}
....keep it up.

I lost my temper a little I think I need a nap. What I would like is open bomb bays or clearly visible ordinance to fight the disturbing trend toward political correctness.
I am looking at doing 1/72 Scale academy B-17 F
and a CGM 1/32 Scale Bombcart and towing truck. maybe some bomb crew and ground crew talking etc.
finding my bomb load was the hard part GMW hasn't got them any more.
I opened my bomb cart drooled on it and put it up waiting to January

Hmm, can we make aircraft that are the bomb? Like the manned V-2 or V-1?

I just bought myself a Cessna A-37 A/B Dragonfly I think it's suiable for the campaign. I know it is designed as a ground attack aircraft and has two engines.
Can anyone confirm if it's ok to build it?
Thanks

Hum like a Baka bomb, Mistel, or Natter? Not exactly what I had in mind mate. But I'm willing to call it thinking "outside the box " if you are. And it definatly shows the ordinence off :-) Mistel woud be closest to our theme though.

Jolly Roger, Dude I dont know what that is . If it fits the campaign specs then okay sure. Question, who makes it , and what scale is it ?
Nitro , Fighter bombers is a question Shermies asked a while back. His fighter bomber was a P-47 Thunder bolt and the anwser was no. But, a P-47 isn't designed
for a load , ( I might be wrong ) and is single engined. ( yup I'm sure about that one ) So if the fighter bomber is designed for a load even Ground attack, and is multi engined then yes. As long as you arm it for bombing and not for air to air combat.
That means gents : Hs 129 , P-38 , Bf 110, and Mosqito are okay with me as long as they are armed for bombing ( including fish ) as they are muti engined and designed for a load. unless I'm way wrong about thier specs for a load.
This campaign is to last eight months almost that 's plenty of time for one or two entries even if you have AMS

TreeCat - We can do a Mistel?! Awh...that's a whole different thing then....and I have just the kit to do it with too. I've got the AmTech 1:72 Ju88 H-3/H-4 and I'm thinking the long version and a 190-d up top...but if anyone else is tempted to build this plane{s} I can use my 109-g too{I'm limited in my 1:72 scale aircraft sadly} and maybe the short body Ju 88....I'll wait and see...

After "due"* consideration and a very nice bottle of aussie Cab Sauv, "I" ** have decided to take the plunge and actually commit to building something, it will be the Airfix 1/72 Avro Vulcan..distinct lack of jets at the minute...and I am a volunteer on the eng. team with this crowd.. http://www.avrovulcan.com/index.htm so pending confirmation, I'm in
* the term "due" in no way indicates any real effort whatsoever...
** the term "I" does not in any way signify a clear or rational decision on my part, about anything, ever.. except another bottle of wine

Treecat, E555 is a long range bomber Project of Luftwaffe. It is a Revell 1/72 kit. She has some 6 jet engines on ger back and has a really "HEAVY" bomb load in the bomb bay(actually I've heard that the cuties were nuclear). The decals belong to a squadron of 1948 and the cover illustration is over New York:} So do 6 engines and an open bomb bay with presumably Nukes ok boss?:} İf not no problem. I had the misfortune to buy Revell's 1/72 He177 yesterday and I can build it....

Since I can't do my Grace and Kate for this campaign, it looks like the He-177 from ROG will be my entry. I had two of these and was planning a "what if" Zwilling with them, but I will hold off on that for the time being. "Q"
