Hi everyone,
Question about F-100 units and aircraft. Did any of them ever sport "Shark mouths"? if so I want to model an F-100 for the "Show your Teeth" campaign.
Sincerely,
Brian

Hey Brian I did a quick look around on google and came up with this photo,
Not sure what country she's from, Turkey maybe. I did not see any American F-100's with the sharks mouth painted on them, but I did have a fast look to. I had a 1/48th F-100, a Monogram kit. Raised panel lines, great decals and some PE. It was a great little kit. Down side is that the kit is no longer in stock. But I'm sure you can find one on ebay. Esci also had on out, but their more rare to find. Monogram also had one with out the PE, which was really the same kit. Here is one I found on ebay,

Hi Joe,
Thank you for the picture and link. I'm lucky enough to have an old Monogram kit unbuilt in my garage right now.
Honestly I don't have any idea who flew "Huns" other than than US and France. I did some looking prior to asking for help as I did not find any pictures of shark mouth US F-100's.
To me It seems odd none were painted as such since they were on other ground support aircraft of the period (SEA).
While searching the web I did find a set of decals that had both US and French markings. The French version has the "Teeth". Maybe this is where a Janes aircraft book would be helpful. I will try to look into this more, if it doesn't pan out I might build a foreign F-100.
Thanks again Joe,
Brian

Hi Brian,
Huns were flown by Denmark, Turkey, and Taiwan. Franch flew them for a relatively short time. http://www.f-100.org/hun.shtml

Hi Brian!
A "teethed" F-100! And French! Looking forward to that! I hope you find the decals you need!
