Hallo Steffen!

I'm glad to see such a great model entering the list of completed entries for the "Duel" Campaign! Congratulations on a perfect and original I-16!
I see you even thought of shooting a sideview so I can update my campaign table. It's about time I do an update to it...

How many other entries do you have to build?

Hello Jean-Luc

thanks for your kind comment! and yes I thought of you ... while the left side of the plane is aways the "Schokoladenseite" I also did the other as i am not sure on which side my entry will be (I assume the two opponents should be facing each other)

As for the to do's:
N1J-2 (pretty advanced but still a lot to do),
Bf109 E-4 (started),
Fw 190 A-3 or -4 (started)
Ki10 (did not get it yet) for my double duel with Frank

EDIT: Look what the postman just delivered

I am about to finish a Soviet P-40 E but not for a campaign

Then there is the Buffalo for FUMS, the cursed Fw 200 for "Bombs away!", a Tiger for "Tank aces", i just enlisted for the "Early Bird Contest" with a Fokker D.VII ... and I bet I forgot something ...

and then there are some builds i just do for fun Käfer, Krupp Lkw, StuG III G, another Buffalo (Tamiya with yellow wings) ... maybe soon the I-16 type 24 and many many ... many many more :-)

best wishes

Steffen

Hi Rowan

Yes it's a beauty ... In particular I like the figures .. esp. the Japanese photographer is nice ... though I do not like the thick stubs on the figures

The model typical Fine Molds --> great .. I'm looking forward to your review ... do I really need the eched parts?

best wishes

Hi Steffen

One thing the kit lacks is any rigging instructions (you just have to go by the box-top) - so I've a nasty suspicion they are only included with the "optional extra" etched set, which I think is a bit naughty if it's the case...

All the best

Rowan
