Yes it is just atrick of the light, the tyres are matt.

Finished it this afternoon, just managed to take some pics before the light went.

WOW, that is amazing, I thought it looked good after the first set of pics! What kind of silver pencil are you using for the paint chipping? You have to write an article about how u finished it. You should be teaching a course on modeling (wink wink)!

Hi Ryan,
Silver pencil is just a bog standard one from an artist supply store. Quick and easy, done after the matt coat, otherwise it wont go on. Usually the main chipping is around hatches removable panels and where personnel would regularly put there big feet. With a bit more on wing leading edges and selected other points such as some of the panel fastenings. :-)
