Thanks Jan:
I believe that the gral. weathering will add a realistic look to the work.

Hi Carlos
Do not fear .. I have the pit almost finished (just to add the seat belts) and the fuselages halves are glued together. The etched parts from the Hasegawa kit are missing on the Revell issue (no plastic replacements!), so I had to improvise ...
hope to finish the bodyshell work tomorrow .... and then some airbrushing .... not so easy, but I still hope I can make it
cheers

Hi Carlos
here you can see, I am not cheating .. I just put it aside to dry. --- it will not be finished today, but chances are good to make it in a few days

Hi Carlos
I wish you a happy new year .. and I am glad Ulises left Circe on her Island and returned home .. a good end to 2006 (you still have some hours left I think ... )
I am looking forward to the pix of your spit .. I think I can finish the Bf 109 in one or two days, so you do not have to circle alone over the Channel :-) :-)
have a nice start into 2007
cheers

Thanks Steffen & Frank.
Zeus, Jupiter & Venus have listened and returned Ulises to his home.
Thanks for all the good vibrations fellows
Steffen:
The camo on your Bf 109 looks impresive. Be aware of 92 Sqn. Spits.
See you all tomorrow.
I wish a healthy and happy 2007 to all of you
Regards.

Well, Zeus and Jupiter are the same .. but it is great when you can pray in Roman and Greek

i mixed them too as corresponding to Zeus would be poseidon and not neptun .. well it's been a long time since they were
THE PTB in Europe :-) :-)

Many thanks! Well, then how do you like this:

Just to scare you off, pic of the washing done yesterday.
It is almost finished now. Just have to remove the BMF from the canopy and add an aerial wire. But it is too dark now to take good pix .. hope the weather is good enough tomorrow morning.
cheers

WOW!
2 fantastic models, guys. The BF-109's camouflage is very impressive and I really like the weathering on the underside of the Spit. I also like the figures Carlos, really nice paint job.
Great to hear your kitty came back too! I have a cat and although she sent my 1/72 A-37 to the dustbin after 2 successful airfield takeovers, I'd be totally lost without her hanging around whilst I built.
Steffen - what model airbrush do you have with the spatter nozzle?
Cheers

Hi Carlos and Wiz
It is looking superb!!! And the dio is also very good ...super build!!
One nitpick though (as always

) theunderside is pretty dirty (I like that) but the u/c bays are clean ?
@wiz: I used a Gabbert Triplex with a fine tip, spatter nozzle and low pressure
Now you can tear down my model .. the weather was good this morning:

best wishes

Hi Carlos and Steffen!
Thanks for two fantastic looking models for the Duel Campaign! I'm going to edit my table right now to do them justice!
Steffen, is the additional Fuel Tank painted? looks as if it's bare plastic...

Clean Gear Bays Vs Clean Fuel Tank, I think this Duel is a draw! :-)

Hi Jean-Luc
eagle eyes ... huh ... I just dropped it under the kite to see if it fits, but I forgot to remove it for the pictures ... doh ... it was just too clean, was it? :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Thanks Carlos for a super duel, which needed an overtime and still ended in a draw .... just as i like it
best wishes
