:-)Those Eduard pe-painted belts are pretty good aren't they. I've sprayed the primer on mine and touch up a seam showing up after. I'm putting pics on the RRB, I was going to wait until I had pre-shaded it as well but I have had a bit of a disaster (maybe). I'll explain on the RRB with the pics
Anyway yours is looking good :-)

I wil load some pictures soon.I have the top and bottoms of the wings drilled and glued.
Is the inside edge of the wheelwell to be the interior color?
I followed the instructions and did the wheel bits in sky.
How is everyone else doing?

I think the concensus was that the wheels and the wheel wells were the same color as the interior.

I've had a real lull in activity in general. Did get little done at the weekend though. Main body is built now, and I think I'm about ready to paint, which should be interesting.....

Wiil try to put a pic up as soon as I can.

:-) TankCarl,
My thoughts on wheel well and gear colour are elswhere in the thread, but essentially I have gone with interior green. I wouldn't sweat it though as I have seen plenty of models finished with landing gear in Sky. Somehow though, it just seems wrong, to me. To be perfectly honest I have no definative proof.

Roger,
I was getting ready to send out a search party. My bird is all together, primed and now pre-shaded. I hope to get the undersurface Sky on, this afternoon. I've had a bit of a lull, seems to happen to me around this stage in a build. Once I get the Sky on I'll be raring to go again.

:-) These pics show the primer, pre-shading and the undersurface Sky. I used Xtracolor paint and although I added celulose thinner to the mix, to speed up the drying time, I was a bit worried and have left it for a week. I am going to use Lifecolor acrylics for the uppersurface, mainly because of the drying time. I have marked of for the Dark Earth but have yet to mask the underserface, been a bit hung up on my Corsair, (see the Rivet Review Board). Another reason for my slacking is the fact that I started my new job on Thursday :-)

I can see the darker shading through the paint on the underside Holdfast. Now will you be doing 1 more color coat,or is that how much preshading you want in the end?

:-) The underside is as I wanted it, more or less. It's difficult to get the light right to show the affect as it appears in real life. Because I blew up my compressor it is difficult to manage the air pressure for my airbrush with the little air pump I am having to use. After the decals are on and a wash is applied this should look OK? :-)
