Hi guys
Because Patrick (Blackwulf) and I are true democrats

We will of course let you vote for what kind of ribbon you would like for the Tank Busting - Down Low campaign. Both Patrick and I have worked with several different versions.

On purpose these are shown in small sizes as the ribbons will also be small on the profiles. The best are shown below:
Ribbon 1:

Ribbon 2:

Ribbon 3:

Ribbon 4:

Ribbon 5:

Ribbon 6:

Ribbon 7:

You vote by adding a post in this tread stating the number of the ribbon you like and writing any comments below. For example please simply write "Ribbon 1" first and then comments below as this makes it easier to count the votes.
Furthermore, we have decided to add oakleaves to the ribbon of participants that submit more than one entry. This is of course done no matter what ribbon that gets "elected". The oakleaves is not up for election - they have already been elected

The oakleaves might be bigger on the final version.
Oakleaves for two or more entries shown on an example ribbon:

or maybe 7 the others are nice but not easy to spot what they mean. Maybe on 7 you could leave out the text and enlarge the gun sight .. just a thought
Hi Jesper
One question: is this campaign about tank busting or ground attack ? I am not sure if my Fw 190 F-1 would fit in the tank hunter role...
best wishes

Ribbon 6
or
Ribbon 7 (with out the text)
One question though is how do you go about awarding different ribbons for those that build more than one kit?

I do not know the technicalities yet, but I know it has been done on the Armorama page, so it should not be a problem here either.
@Steffen: Your question is a little of topic, so I have answered it in the official Tank Busting tread.

Ribbon 6 or 7. I won't be TOO picky.

My vote will go for
Ribbon # 7
The only suggestion I would make will be to enlarge the gun sight like Steffan suggested.

...And I was just thinking about suggesting a slight adjustment. Perhaps change the color so the oak leaves would stand out a little better?

Hi Jesper
Ribbon #6
I agree with Eetu that the oakleaves could be clearer (white might work well).
All the best

Hi Jesper!
Five is nice because there is a French flag in it! :-)
But seriously I would go for n°6 as well...

First results:
Ribbon 6: 12 votes
Ribbon 7: 1 vote and some "6 or 7" votes
Ribbon 5: 1 vote
I see a clear pattern here :-) :-) Anyway, we will let the voting run for some more days despite the quite clear pattern

I think we will both enlarge the oakleaves and use a more visible colour on the final design.

I was wondering if we should tack this folder to the top so that all participants will get a chance to view it?? Just a suggestion......

Ribbon 7, with larger oak leaves that perhaps extend beyond the red ends.

Ha!! :-)
I did not even see that!
Still, I think because my P-39 is so powerful, so devastating, and so technologically advanced that it borders on being of "other worldly" design, I think my vote should count for 100.
Just a thought....

I'll go with #5..........but only because I feel sorry for Percheron and his tiny little P-39. :-) :-)

:-) :-) Awesome! I love it! Thank you.
I have been telling myself for a long, long time that looks and the ability to get the job done are more important than size. And that applies to my P-39 as well.
