I was wondering where one buys those clear acrylic rods that so many people use to display jets in flight? I have checked several craft stores and have come up empty. I do not really even know what section of the store to look in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Shane,

Your not going to like my reply but I have the same dilema as you. I have gone to every craft store in my area, Mac's, Craft Warehouse, Michaels you know all those Arty women oriented places and not a single one has them. Unreal in my mind and none of the employees seem to have any idea what I am talking about.
My next thought is to look up plastics supply business in the phone book and see if they can help. Surely somone on Aeroscale has aquired these items before but from whom?

Out here on the wet coast I found some 3/16 clear rod at TAP plastics for 25 cents a foot. You might look for them or Cadillac (sp?) Plastics in the yellow pages.
