Congratulations Jean-Luc!
You have certainly inspired me to produce a diorama of my own. It'll provide the perfect excuse to build one of my 1:48 kits and paint some figures and a vehicle etc. (shame about the Eduard figures)
I particularly like the fading on the Hurricane. It certainly looks as though its been exposed to the elements of the British weather!
I like the way the placement of the figures leads the eye into the main subject, and theres plenty of other interest with the vehicle and various bits and pieces (and sheep!) scattered around.Just enough to look busy but not cluttered.
Are the figures secured to the base yet? I ask because I have been thinking what it would look like with the ground crew as they are,(moving in to service the Hurri), but with the 2 pilots moving away from the aircraft discussing their latest sortie.Perhaps towards the intelligence officer looking WAAF waiting for the combat report?
Those Mark58 diorama accesories really look good.Any idea when they will be available to the masses? The entrance to the air raid shelter is spot on, as you can see from this photo I took on my travels last month.
Looking forward to the photo feature!

Hi all!
Nigel, I will visit Marc Toillié next week so I will have more informations by then. I know that some of his products are available in stores in France but he is still working on his website to sell worldwide. He has a new range of products ready which should be very attractive... more on that next week!
Marc Toillié does products which are well researched. He made several visits in England and took similar pictures as yours for the Dispersal parts. Knowing the person, I'm not surprised at all that you find the entrance of the raid shelter "spot on".
I'm looking forward to your first dioramas!
Chuck, I made the last picture especially for you!

The last photo of the Dio is a great "candid" shot. What a great job, thanks for sharing.

That's a fantastic piece of work Jean-Luc but I have to ask where will you position the baby? If you get it wrong it could throw the balance of the dio slightly off.

Absolutely Outstanding. This has proven to be an informative and interesting diorama build.
How close are you to Alsace?

Hi all!
Carl, I live not far away from Alsace. In fact today I will help a friend of mine who is moving in a little village there. To reach this region I have to drive half an hour. Do you have Family in Alsace? With "Althaus" as a name I wouldn't be surprised. I suppose you know that Althaus means "old house" in german language.
Martin, the baby in the dio? Even if Vincent is still a little thing he would be out of scale!
Jesper, I'm making progress! So there is still hope!
Maybe you should change your avatar picture!
Thanks again guys...
