Superb ! Your shots are very atmospheric !
I particularly like the subtle weathering. Did you use pastels / pigments or have you airbrushed the dusty appearance.
Great job

Thanks very much Peter!
I used Model Master II enamels for both the camouflage and the weathering, the weathering was done with dry-brushing and my airbrush.
The kits decals were not usable so I used some old Superscale decals from my spares box. My model has an incorrect W.Nr., the a/c I was trying to do was the plane Rudel flew when he surrendered to American forces at the end of the war which had W.Nr. 494110, I did not have the correct decals so I used what I had on hand.

Hi Les. Great job. Your photogrphy is spot on. I really like photo #2. I love the Stuka, it's my favorite WWII aircraft, again, great job, Wingman out.

Nice job all the way around. I thought I was looking at an actual vintage photo of a Stuka when I 1st looked at the B&W pics.
Love your weathering too.

Thanks mwolfe, David, and karl!
This model was weathered quite a bit more than I usually do on my models in an attempt to copy the Stukas that were in Rudels squadron at wars end...they looked very worn out.

Hi Les
very nice model ... just a q. it is the 1/48 right?
I like your dirty approach

Great build and not to forget: outstanding photography and post-production !!!
I have the Hasegawa 90 % finished for some years now .. but somehow I do not like it very much and cannot motivate to get it finished ... furthermore I would like a little more choice .. the only well documented (and attributed to a pilot) Junkers Ju 87 G seem to be Rudel's G-2 and Krol's G-1 ...
best wishes
Steffen

Thanks for the comments Steffen!
The model is in 1/48 scale.
I agree with you about the lack of options for markings for the Ju 87G, there are not too many choices for this aircraft.
There are two good recent booklets that cover the Ju 87, one is ''Stuka Volume Two'' by Classic Aviation Publications, the other is ''Junkers Ju 87 Vol. III'' by Kagero, both of these have many nice pictures of tank busting Stukas, a few I have not seen before. These booklets helped a great deal when I was weathering my model.

Steffen,
I might add that the Kagero book includes a decal sheet for a few of the Stukas pictured in the book, sadly none are of the Ju 87G tank killers.

I agree with the others, the photography is superb, the b/w photos somehow add realism to your plane, since most real photos are also b/w

Great Stuka. You are really a master of both photography and model making.
In relation to the Kagero books I cannot trecommend them enough. They are excellent value for money and provide you with a lot of detailed scale drawing, decals, pictures, development background, unit actions etc.
Thanks for sharing - I still remember your excellent Salamander.

Thanks again James and thank you Jesper!
James,
I don't have any more pics of the Stuka yet, during my next photo shoot of some of my new models I will take the Stuka out and get a couple more pics of it.
Jesper,
I also like those Kagero books, they often have plenty of photographs that I have not seen before and those free decals are a nice touch. My new Fw 190A model will be using some decals from one of those Kagero books.
