When I first got news Libellula back in March that Planet Models were planning a kit of the M.35, I assumed mistakenly that it was to be a 1:72 kit. In fact, it's 1:48 and should really appeal to quarterscale modellers with a penchant for the weird and wonderful!

Planet Models new kit is of the Yakovlev Yak-23 Flora, which was a first generation Soviet fighter.
The aircraft served with a the Soviet, Bulgarian, Czechoslovak, Polish, and Romanian Air forces.
One machine was even acquired by the US Air Force and shipped to the Air Force Test and Evaluation Center at Wright Field near Dayton, Ohio.

Modelimex have released images of Planet Models' latest 1/48 scale resin kit - the Bugatti Model 100 Racer.

Two 1/72nd scale release's from Planet Models for those of us who like the "not seen a lot" kits.
First up is a brand new mould of the Messerschmitt M20 b-2, which was a light transport aircraft used by Lufthansa.
This kit has never been released before in 1/72nd scale.
Last but not least is the SIAI- Marchetti SF-260M. The Marcetti is a popular aircraft with military and airline flight school's, it is also used by aerobatic teams.
This is a re-edition of 20 + year old CMK model, with corrected nose and some other improvements.
Planet models usually release the weird and wonderful prototypes of the Second World War, and their two newest releases have not disappointed.
One each from the Allied and Axis powers and both developed as high altitude fighters.
