Xtradecals latest release explores various Bf-109's in stab markings in 1/72 and 1/48 scales

Xtradecal are planning two 1/48 decal releases for the P-51D with a multinational look

Xtradecal has released a decal sheet focusing on the Handley Page Victor B.Mks 1 & 2. There are eleven choices of markings all in green/medium sea grey disruptive upper camouflage and white under surfaces. Tim Hutton [Litespeed] tells us about them.

Xtradecal is at it again producing more decal sheets celebrating anniversaries of various RAF Squadrons. The two 1/48 sheets feature four marking options with each release, while the 1/72 release features fourteen marking options.

Xtradecal has released a 1/72 decal sheet offering markings for nine North American T-28B/C Trojans. The Drone controllers look pretty spectacular.

Following on from their recent 1/72 release titled “The Battle for Malta Axis” Xtradecal has naturally followed it up with this release titled “The Battle for Malta RAF”. Aircraft types include are Hurricane IIa’s, Spitfire Vb’s, a Blenheim, a Beaufighter and a Beaufort.

Xtradecal has released an interesting 1/72 decal sheet titled “The Battle for Malta Axis”. Aircraft featured includes Bf109E/F’s, a BF110, a Ju 87R, a Ju88A-4 and a Macchi MC200 and a 202. Markings for nine aircraft are included.

Xtradecal are to release in the near future two decal sheets for the US Navy trainer the T-28 Trojan. These are designed for 1/48 and 1/72 kit releases. They certainly look colourful and will brighten up your flightline nicely.

An interesting 1/48 future release from Xtradecal in the near future. It is another in their series celebrating RAF Squadron Anniversaries. Particularly striking schemes for the two Tornadoes, but also the subtle dark earth and dark green on the spine of the Hawk.

Xtradecal has released a smart set of decals in 1/72 scale for the English Electric Lightning F.2A/F.6. With this release you can finish your Lightnings with most of the camouflage schemes that was ever painted on the RAF's distinctive Cold War Warrior fighter. There are options for the natural metal look too.

Xtradecal has released nine alternative marking options for the recently released Italeri 1/48 Westland Wessex. Markings include yellow SAR’s, a green VIP transport and a Raspberry Ripple.

Xtradecal has released some interesting 1/72 decals for war weary P-47C & D that were used as bomber formation monitors and also serving with the 5th Emergency Rescue Squadron.

Another release in their decal range looking at the history of individual RAF Squadrons, Xtradecal have released a 1/72 and 1/48 decal sheet for No 1 Squadron. Aircraft covered start from the SE.5A up to the now sadly retired Harrier GR. 9.

Xtradecal has released a stunning looking 1/72 decal release for P-47D’s operating with the RAF. There are twelve options covering Razorbacks and Bubbletops and there is a good mix of camouflage and bare metal finishes too.

Xtradecal continue their excellent series looking at the history of RFC/RAF Squadrons. The releases covers the history of 4 Squadron in two parts the first part is from the early years up to just after WWII. The second part covers the period from the cold war up to the present day.

Xtradecal has provided a sneak preview of the superb looking decal release for the forthcoming Airfix 1/72 A-4B Skyhawk. There are seven options altogether: six US Navy and one Marine Scooter.

If the in box decal options for the new Airfix 1/48 Westland Lynx are not to your liking then good news is on the horizon. Xtradecal have released images of a future release the Lynx. There are fifteen options with this release covering UK and foreign Armed Forces.

Xtradecal have announced another 1/72 release in their popular series of decal releases looking at the history of individual RAF Squadrons. This time the subject is 4 Squadron and it covers eleven aircraft from the Hawker Audax in 1931 up to the present day with the BAe Hawk.

Xtradecal has released a decal sheet containing 1/72 RAF Fighter code letters in medium sea grey. A very useful set particularly if you have some RAF fighters in your stash with dodgy decals.

Xtradecal have released a set of decals for the Handley-Page Halifax B.II/B.II Series 1A/B.II. Inspired no doubt by the fine looking recent Revell release of the 1/72 Halifax.

Xtradecals have been quick off the blocks with this excellent looking decal release for the Italeri 1/48 Hawker Hunter F.6 & FGA.9. As the Italeri release is from the same mould as used by Academy, then I am pretty sure these decals can be used for the Academy kit as well. Nine marking options are included.

Entirely WWIII types this time around in 1/72, but some magnificent subjects none the less. There are some wonderful looking schemes for the for the aircraft training Commonwealth pilots in one release. There are three separate releases looking at American aircraft in Fleet Air Arm Service.

Xtradecal have revealed images of their 1/72 Fairey Swordfish Mks. I/II/III Pt 1 decal sheet, which should be released very soon. There are some very interesting variations included, particularly if you are thinking of building more than one Swordfish kit.

Xtradecal have just released two outstanding looking decal sets in 1/72 scale. The first is a history [pt 1] of 41 Sqn RAF, featuring aircraft from 1918 up to the present day. The second release is for thirteen marking options for the P-40B. A must have release for the unusual black and sky under surfaces of two P-40B's.

Some very interesting decal releases from Xtradecal, including two RAF History 1/48 sheets looking at the aircraft flown by 111 and 41 Squadrons. Individual aircraft decal releases includes the Lockheed-Vega PV-1 Ventura, the EE Lightning F.3A and F.6 and the Hawker Tempest Mk. V.

Xtradecal have released decals in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32 for this year’s [2011] Hawk T.1A display aircraft based at RAF Valley. Flown by Fl. Lt Jules Flemming, XX226 proudly displays a Dragon Logo. The 1/72 decal sheet has some extra RAF display markings for a Shorts Tucano [2011] and a Hawk T.1A [1993] as a bonus.

Xtradecal [Hannants] have released images of their forthcoming decal release for the new Revell 1/32 He 111.

With Revell releasing their 1/32 BAe Hawk T.1a, now is a good time to mention that Xtradecal have several sets of decals for the Hawk in various schemes.

If you are as excited as I am about the imminent release of Revells 1/32 BAe Hawk, then you will welcome these excellent marking from Xtradecal to go with it. I can see I will have to acquire more than one kit to utilise some of these beauties.

Anticipating the release of the Airfix 1/48 Sea Vixen [well aren't most of us]. Xtradecal have released decals for four aircraft. Not a subject known for it's colourful marking while in service. It made up for the lack of colourful markings in it's re-incarnation as a drone and the last airworthy Vixen flying for the Red Bull Team. Perhaps we may see these marking released as well.

A couple of decals sheets I missed the first time around have now been reprinted by Xtradecal. One set for the 1/72 Hawker Hunters and the other for 1/48 B-57 Canberra's.

Xtradecal have released a set of decals for F-100D Super Sabres serving in foreign air forces. Set includes a Republic of China. A Turkish, two Danish and a French Super Sabre.

Xtradecal are bring out two sets of decals one in 1/48 [part 5] and one in 1/72 [part 2] for the series they are creating for the F-100 Super Sabre. One of the markings is for Lt Col. Chuck Yeager's mount and another is for the first single engined jet to fly over the North Pole.

To commemorate the Battle of Britain's 70th Anniversary this autumn Xtradecal have released two sets of decals in 1/48 covering RAF and Luftwaffe aircraft flown at the time. This set is different from the 1/72 release and features a few less aircraft, see here for the 1/72 release.
