Xtradecal have released a set of decals for the Handley-Page Halifax B.II/B.II Series 1A/B.II. Inspired no doubt by the fine looking recent Revell release of the 1/72 Halifax.
Halifax B.II
- JB859 VR-H or JD158 VR-H both 419(RCAF) Sqn RAF Middleton St George both flown by Flt Lt Stanley Heard who was lost in JD158.
Halifax B.II series I
-R9441 TL-S 35 Sqn RAF Linton-on-Ouse 1942.
-W7671/W 462(RAAF) Sqn Western Desert 1943.
Halifax B.II series IA
-JD127 DY-U 102 Sqn RAF Pocklington 1943 with square fin.
Halifax B.II series 1 special
-JB910 ZA-J 10 Sqn RAF Leeming.
-JD114 VR-O 419(RCAF) Sqn RAF Middleton St George 1943.
W7671/W 462 looks interesting for anyone looking for something different. It has mid stone/dark earth disruptive camouflage on its upper surfaces.
