Hot news from Gary Newman at MMD-Squadron! The first plastic parts for Czech Model's forthcoming 1/48 Ryan FR-1 Fireball are due any day now. Resin details and decals will follow within the next few weeks, so this exciting kit should be on the shelves by Summer.
The Ryan FR-1 Fireball arrived just too late to see combat in WW II. This unique mixed-propulsion US Navy carrier fighter was powered by both a radial and a jet engine.
The kit will feature:
- Detailed exterior with engraved panel lines.
- Detailed resin cockpit, radial engine, wheel wells, wheels, and bombs.
