Aviaeology's original RCAF Sunderlands: Canadians in Coastal Command #2 Digital Silk edition was very popular when first released a few years ago. Well now its back by popular demand. Starting with the 1/72 and 1/48 scale editions, the series has been modified for screen-print production and expanded in subject coverage.

Aircraft covered in this set:
-Sunderland GR.III DD859 as aircraft 3•G of 423 Squadron RCAF, RAF Coastal Command, Castle Archdale, Ireland, August 1943
-4 August 1943, Flying Officer A.A. Bishop and crew sank U-489 but AA fire from the U-boat shot the aircraft down and six of the 11-man crew survived.
-Sunderland GR.III ML825 as aircraft AB•D of 423 Squadron RCAF, RAF Coastal Command, Castle Archdale, Ireland, September 1944
-11 September 1944, Flying Officer J.N. Farren and crew joined HMCS Dunver and HMCS Hespeler in sinking U-484.
-Sunderland GR.III EK591 as aircraft 2•U of 422 Squadron RCAF, RAF Coastal Command, Castle Archdale, Ireland, early-mid 1944
-10 March 1944 (while based down the road from Castle Archdale at St. Angelo) Warrant Officer 2nd Class W.F. Morton and crew, sank U-625, while on W/O Morton’s first operational mission as an aircraft commander.
The three subject aircraft options are the same as those in the earlier editions, modified as follows:
-in the 1/72 scale set white "doughnut" decals are provided as a modelling aid to help deal with the oversized portholes in the old Airfix kit. These may also proove useful during the finishing stage for builders of the announced new-tool kits by other manufacturers as well;
-within the documentation / instructions a not insubstantial addition is a revised article on Sunderland ASW ordnance loads, complete with exclusive scale drawings and official manual out-takes.
