Roden have published few pictures and boxarts of their latest 1:48 scale releases.
North American T-28B Trojan
Catalogue no.: 441

The box contains four sprues of grey plastic and one sprue of clear parts. Windshield is separated from the limousine. Kit have separated flaps, ailerons and rudder. Engine seems to created as a front halve visible in the cowling. I hope the kit will be available in sale with two horizontal stabalizers as I see only one on the published box content.

Painting schemes:
1. North American T-28B Trojan, 140006, Naval Aerospace Recovery Facility, NAS El Centro, California, 1970.
2. North American T-28B Trojan, 137692/KB4, U.S.Marine Corps, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, March 1977.
3. North American T-28B Trojan, 148288, Pacific Fleet All-Weather Training Unit, mid-1970.

de Havilland DH9 Ambulance
Catalogue no.: 436

On eight sprues we can find for example three different propellers, two engine radiators, two landing gear types. I think I also see four(!) different fuselage variants and whole lot of other details.

Painting scheme:
1. De Havilland D.H.9 ambulance, D3117, “6” of “Z” Force Unit, British Somaliland, 1919-1920.

Ooh! I'd really love to see what that Trojan is like after suffering through a Monogram/Black Box mess...

Jessica, that sounds a bit sinister. Monogram / Black box? Is there a thread to that subject somewhere? Also according to Lone Star Models. . . "Please note! Most of the T-28 sets are to be discontinued soon. Due to the recent release of the New Roden kit. A new set for the cockpit and wheel bays is coming for the Roden kit though. . ." Lone star Models conv.

No, there's no thread. I kind of buried in way in the bottom of my pile of half built kits because I didn't want to remind myself of all the trauma. And it appears as though I'd better contact Mike and get some of his parts while the getting is good...

Gadzooks & Hot Marimba! She said "trauma". Best leave it alone. As he quietly tiptoes away. . .

By the way folks now that the review is done. Here. I am sending this kit to Jessica for her build talents. In hopes it will sooth her "trauma" over the old Monogrrrrr kit
