Hobby Boss have just announced a 1/48 scale kit in the May releases.
British Fleet Air Arm Hellcat Mk.II
Item No. 80361

The artwork reveals that we will get a machine of 800th Squadron FAA. Unfortunatelly this is all what we can know about this release so far.

Let's hope it will be advanced kit, similar to the earlier F6F-3 but not the „easy assembly” one.
