Relish Resin has released a very welcome resin conversion to create a 1/48 Spitfire Mk.II(LR) from the Tamiya or Airfix Spitfire Mk1.

This resin conversion set will enable the modeler to convert the Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire Mk.I kit to a Mk.II(LR) specification. This detailed set includes the port underwing 30 gallon fuel tank, starboard nose Coffman starter bulge and the blunt Rotol propeller spinner with broad Jabo blades. This conversion can also be used with the Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk.I kits.
