As Mentioned by our man Michal Sindera Roden has been prepping the next issue of their 1/48 North American T-28D Trojan.
# 450 North American T-28D Trojan in 1/48 scale
The North American T-28D Trojan was an American light strike aircraft developed from the out-dated T-28A type. It differed from its predecessor in having a more powerful (1,425 hp) engine and attachment points for various types of armament under the wings, such as machine guns, bombs, rockets and napalm containers. 300 machines of this version were built in total, which were widely used from the beginning of the Sixties up to the end of the 20th Century in various corners of the world, from South-East Asia to Africa and Latin America. The type was an ideal weapon against mobile partisan troops, and its ability to operate from the most primitive airstrips, and also its ease of maintenance in field conditions, allowed it a lengthy military career in many countries of the Third World.
