Caracal Models has sent us in a preview of their two latest releases.

These are two sets of 1:48 scale decals entitled “Heroes of Kościuszko” and represents special, commemorative painting options of two MiG-29's of the Polish Air Force.

These two machines received very uncommon painting schemes of very big “Kościuszko Badge” on the fuselage and portraits on the inner sides of vertical stabilizers. Few Polish Fulcrums were adored with this special scheme to commemorate the pilots of 303 Squadron of Polish Air Force in Great Britain in World War Two. Caracal Model have chosen two machines: the “111” with F/O Mirosław Ferić (decal set no. CD48029) and the “56” with the portrait of W/Cdr Marian Pisarek (decal set no. CD48030).

You can already make preorders for the 1:48 scale sets. 72scalers can expect the same sets by the end of December while 1:32 scale decals should be available in February 2013.
