Academy has released a teaser for their new 1/48 F-4U Corsair kit
The model will be a limited-issue release with markings for VF-17 "Jolly Rogers". The kit will contain alternative parts for the F-4U-1A/1C or 1D versions, and a vairety of armaments.

Academy has not yet released the date the kit will become available. We will keep our readers appraised of this news when we learn it.

Probably a re-issue with new decals, but I wonder, with the ability to model the different variants.

Judging from the photos I would say a re-pop of the old (hobbycraft) kit with new decals.
