Zvezda have announced a 1:144 kit of the A-90 Orlyonok (Eaglet) ekranoplan ground effect vehicle.

Entering service with the Soviet navy in the late 1970s, the A-90 was designed as a fully amphibious transport and beach assault unit and had an undercarriage for beaching and takeoffs from on land.

Kit #7016 comprises some 38 parts and, despite its small scale, is over 40 cm in length.

Zvezda's Orlyonok will be hitting the shelves worldwide very soon, price to be confirmed.
