Albatros Productions' latest issue of Windsock Worldwide has plenty to keep us busy as the autumn nights begin to draw in here in the UK with a rich selection of modelling and reference articles. Lance Krieg tackles exterior finishes, including wood effects, while the spectacular colour spread of the SE5 in US service will have many modellers itching to tackle one. Among an extensive look at new kits and accessories, this edition gives a tantalising preview of Hasegawa's beautiful new 1:16 Sopwith Camel. It looks a real beauty - but I can't help wishing they'd chosen to fill the glaring gap in the market for a new 1:32 version...
WINDSOCK Worldwide Vol.29, No.4

"THE July/August edition of WINDSOCK looks forward to next year’s WWI centenary and features the usual well-honed rneld of modelling prowess and unique, top-notch reference material. Highlights include the second instalment of Lance Krieg’s detailed discourse on WWI model finishes in over six densely-imaged pages: Rara Avis describes the SE4a biplanes with photos and 1:48/1:72 scale drawings of both versions: there’s a centre-spread of American SE5a and SE5E fighter colour profiles revealing several exotic finishes for these famous types, whilst an extended ‘Transfer List exclusively reviews new ranges of ‘lozenge’ decals that are setting the WWI model world alight. Elsewhere we have a preview of Hasegawa’s new 1:16 uncovered Camel, plus pages of kit, book and accessory assessments including more reviews in our new column for WWI aeronautical figures.

Available now at £7.60 plus post and packing from Albatros and selected outlets Worldwide! Also available on money saving subscriptions!

Come on WNW, where is the 1/32 Camel? WNW say there is already a good 1/32 Camel available but I haven't seen one anywhere near their standard.
