1⁄32

It's hard to understand how some of the most famous aircraft subjects get largely overlooked in modelling, so it's a real personal delight to announce that Silver Wings will be releasing on of my own personal favourites - the immortal "Stearman":
After a busy 2013, Silver Wings is proud to announce our first all new kit for 2014. The classic Boeing Model 75 "Stearman" in 1/32 scale! Many of our friends and customers have told us they have been waiting a long time for a model of this iconic training aircraft. We hope that you will be excited as we are to welcome the Stearman to our line of high-quality 1/32 resin kits.
The Boeing Model 75 Stearman was used as a military trainer aircraft in the 1930's and 1940's. Widely known as the Stearman, Boeing Stearman or Kaydet, it served as a primary trainer for the USAAF, the USN (as the NS & N2S), and with the RCAF as the Kaydet throughout World War II, with at least 8,584 aircraft built. After the conflict was over, thousands of surplus aircraft were sold on the civilian market. In the immediate postwar years they became popular as crop dusters, sports planes, and for aerobatic and wing walking use in air shows.
Kit includes:
- 185 resin parts
- 2 film elements - sheet
- 31 PE parts - sheet
- reinforced: wings and struts
- instruction
- decals sheet including 2 marking options
Please remember, when contacting retailers or manufacturers, to mention that you saw their products highlighted here - on AEROSCALE.
