Attack Squadron/Arma Hobby has released the first in a series of modern aviation weapons, with full resin kits in 1:48 and 1:72 of the AIM-9X Sidewinder with photo-etched parts and decals.
"Each set contains two highly detailed 3D designed missile miniatures that fit perfectly models of latest F-15C, F-16C/D (including Polish Military Aviation block 52+), F/A-18C, F-22 and F-35 fighters.
The AIM-9X is a redesigned latest version of the most famous air-to-air missile. It has Lock-on After Launch capability that makes it available for internal weapon racks in F-22 and F-35 and for Submarines. Three-dimensional thrust-vectoring control (TVC) helps it with even 180 degrees turns during a dogfight.
Each set contents clear resin head section (cast solid in the test shots shown here) with IR seeker and side fuse sensors and two resin parts. Photoetched fins are easily attached into matching slots in missile body. Decals covers all stencils. Both 1:72 and 1:48 sets are available."
Price: 1:72 - €7.00
Price: 1:48 - €10.00
