The Bell Airacobra is certainly in the news again this summer! Hasegawa has released its new P-400, while Eduard have answered many wishes with their Dual-Combo Airacobra Mk.1 - and now Accurate Miniatures are set to join in with a truly spectacular P-39Q with post-War racers among the decal options.
The 1/48 scale kit is scheduled for release this month and will cost $29.99. There's no word yet on the pedigree of the parts, but an educated guess would suggest this is a continuation of the Accurate Miniatures / Eduard tie-up (that saw such a successful re-boxing of the Yak 1recently) with additional parts as required for the racers.

Accurate Miniatures' P-39Q will come with decals for 3 colourful aircraft:

Red 75, as flown by Jack Woolams in the 1946 Thompson Trophy Race
Yellow 84, as flown by Tex Johnston in the 1946 Thompson Trophy Race
"Old Crow," the first aircraft to bear that name, as flown by C.E. "Bud" Anderson

Hi Rowan! Very nice indeed. But they could have add a "Pinball" paintscheme too... Jean-Luc
