The plastic main gear struts moulded separately from the pintle hinges and the kit instructions show the pintles (C30 & C31) being installed before the upper and lower wing halves are joined. The SAC main gear are cast as one piece with the pintle hinge and should be installed before the upper and lower wing halves are joined
