Largescale modellers look to be in for a real treat with Fly's release of three different 1:32 kits based around the Hurricane Mk. IIc. Each version features styrene, resin and photoetched parts, plus both decals and painting masks.

The kits are amazingly competitively priced at around £30 - and a real added plus is that postage is free when ordered direct from Fly.

Excellent news given that PCM Hurries are limited editions and mostly sold-out.

Hi Bill Fly's Hurricane's are different versions to PCM's too, so there's an added incentive to snap one up. There's never been an injected kit with the long nose in this scale before. I'm just umming and ahhing over which to go for. All the best Rowan

True, Rowan, but it has been frustrating without a regularly-available Hurrie in 1/32nd scale. I built Ken's metal wing Mk. I and it was a very nice kit.

And how much is shipping to the States? The website sells the kits for $55 but won't tell me the shipping unless I provide my credit card info.

Hi Bill I think it will, so long as you're logged in. Of course, if you spend enough, Fly offer free shipping. I'll have to wait until next month to take advantage of that, but the prices of their kits and accessories are very reasonable, so it makes sense to get a bundle together. If you haven't already bought it, go for the Ar 234 too - you won't regret it. All the best Rowan
