Sword Models has announced the future release of a 1/72 Ki-102a Kou (Randy)
The Ki-102a daylight heavy fighter is externally similar to the Ki-102b ground attack aircraft. Sword Models released the Ki-102b early this year. I doubt that the sprues for the Ki-102a will be much different visually other than the addition of turbo superchargers that enabled the engine to maintain its rating at higher altitudes. The 57 mm (2.24 in) cannon were swapped in favour of a 37 mm cannon, and the 12.7 mm rear gun was deleted. I have included the sprues from the Ki-102b to give you a rough idea what to expect.
