Special Hobby is to release a new boxing of the MPM 1/48 kit of the Aero L-39ZO/ZA with a few modifications
"Probably this June we will start selling our 1/48 model of Aero L-39ZO/ZA, cat no. SH48167. The mouldings in this reboxing are the same with the earlier MPM kit, now they will be accompanied by a completely new injected clear canopy. The original kit had the canopy and other clear parts vacuum formed. The decal sheet will offer markings for a Thai machine and up to four other liveries which haven´t been determined yet. The possibilities are rather diverse – pre 1990 Czechoslovakia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, East Germany, Libya, Iraq...."
