Airfix has released a 1/72 scale Bristol Blenheim MkIV Bomber
There was a bit of a delay with this release, but I’m sure it was worth the wait

Marking options with this release include:
-Bristol Blenheim MkIV GRB1 Free French Air Force Sudan March 1941
-Bristol Blenheim MkIV R3816 / OM-J 107 Squadron Leuchars March 1941

If they could halve their panel lines (width en depth) I would be totally sold.

Under a coat of paint it looks just fine. Considering how many people go out of their way to accentuate panel lines don't see any problem. If we were truly to go for scale accuracy a 1/72 aircraft should be totally smooth with no panel lines visible.

Good news, but .... wrong scale I'm waiting for a Mk. IV in 1/48 because I have decals to build one of these beauties .... Btw, this beautiful restored machine can be seen at the FiAF museum in Tikkakoski near Jyväskylä in Finland. Really worth a visit but plan a whole day for it ... Torsten
