Kitty Hawk has released the boxart for their upcoming 1/35 160th SOAR (Special Operations Aviation Regiment) MH-60L Black Hawk kit.

Kitty Hawk is listing their new 1/35 160th SOAR (Special Operations Aviation Regiment) MH-60L Black Hawk for release hopefully in July. This new kit promises to be a winner and was developed in conjunction with Werner's Wings. It should be highly detailed and look great. It is just the first in what they promise will be a whole line of 1/35 H-60 varients to include USAF and USN models.

Their initial CAD drawings look good as well.

That looks like it will be a great kit. I hope they decide to do some of the cobra gunships at some stage

I will be looking forward to this release. I just hope that they include the option for the refueling probe. Wold be nice to finally have a good 1/35 SOAR Helo that I can build. I used to refuel these guys for years. Herky Also for some reason I cannot see this topic in the Rotory Forum. I have to actually select it if it is on the right side, or from the news section. If you open the actual forum, it is no where to be found... Very weird..

It does look to be a great kit. I can't wait to see the plastic to see how great it will be. Floyd says he thinks the refueling probe will be included as it was in the CAD and the decal options include aircraft with and without it. You now have to choose to see the News and Reviews. To do so, in the sand-colored box at the top of the Rotary Wing main page, check the box next to "Show Site Content Related Topics (off by default)", then click on the "Save Selected" tab and you will see them from now on.
