AIMS has released images of cockpit detail set for ICM’s 1/48 scale Ju 88 C-6 Day-Fighter
”AIMS 1/48 ICM Ju 88 C-6 Day-Fighter update
Hi everyone - all the designs are finished - just need to do the instructions while I await delivery of clear resin forward canopy sections and FuBI rack cover. Its hard to get everything in focus with so many details but basically apart from difficult ammo feed from right side bin to upper right MG 17 and the spent cartridge sack chute from the MG 81s down to the floor bin in front of the radio operator - everything you could ever want to model a C-6 Day Fighter is included. I am at Malmo model show this weekend and will have 5 pre-production sets with me for sale - no instructions or clear parts. I will also have my display model with me on the table so if you know your C-6 cockpit details and want to model an early machine without windscreen armour then come and see me. Hope you like the photos. BTW the front resin armoured windscreen is cut form test copy of the forthcoming front canopy section. I have just added a final photo - the spare ammo drum for the battery MG FF was in the wrong place.”
