Mike Ashey has completed his brand new aircraft book:

Detailing Scale Model Aircraft, second edition

The intended release is expected in the first part of 2019. The format will be the same as the Comprehensive Series Scale Model Manuals. According to Mike Ashey Publishing:

This book has 184 pages and over 850 sequenced color photos organized into 6 chapters. The book is 3 ring punched for inserting into a customer supplied “D ring binder.

It will be priced per the other manuals.

Updates will be published for the book with the first update, Removing and Reattaching Parts, is scheduled for fall, 2019.

We also have several new updates for the website. There are some new aircraft reference PDF files and a brand new section titled “KITS OF YESTERYEAR”. It features PDF files of box art and pictures of the kit’s parts from scale model companies such as Hawk, Renwal, Aurora, Pyro, Life Like, Revell and Monogram.
