annndddd already on 'order stop' at HLJ... Was there a previous issue I missed? Enough different from the earlier Hind kits to make it worth $44 for a 1/72 helo?

Previous Mi-35 release yes, kit 02209. Sprue LINK Build (not mine) LINK To the second question, worth the price. No, not for the hasagawa kit. For me all hind kits are measured against the newer Zvezda kits as they are the only 1/72 that have the hind twist to that I am aware of. They have a Mi-35 kit 7276. I think the Mi-24 Hind E kit was reboxed by Revell. I think the second would be Hobby Boss Mi-24 87220, while no twist the Hind kit and Scaleworx's resin set would be choice. I could be wrong and welcome other thoughts on the Hasagawa kit, just not fan since the early A kit and I don't think the have changed much since then.

huh.. I guess I missed the initial release. Thanks for the confirmation, that's sort of what I thought. I really love the look of that nose on the 35, but I do not care for the price point. Even with the nose pieces being done in resin. Zvezda set the bar for the 1/72 Hind pretty high for sure. I second your feelings on the Hasegawa Hinds.. pretty meh for full MSRP. I've got a HB Hind , or two, in the stash, but havent even cracked one open. At WORST, they have to be better than the Italeri...
