Airfix has produced another batch of its hugely popular 1/48 scale Supermarine Walrus Mk.1 'Silver Wings'

”Newly tooled for 2017, the award-winning Supermarine Walrus Mk.1 was a unique subject which captured the imagination of many modellers. The popular ‘Silver Wings’ version (A09187) has returned again this year, and it is now available online and with your local Airfix retailer.”

If only they'd release it in 1/72!!! As much as it's a lovely kit, for those of us with limited display space, it's just not realistic & with no decent modern rendering of it (or its German counterpart, the Arado ar196) available in 1/72, I think they're missing a trick

True, but that was tooled in 1979-wouldn't it be nice to have a nice new modern tool from Revell or Airfix? Airfix's Arado is even older being tooled in 1966!
